DESCRIPTION:The Minot Area Career Expo is a one-day event designed to expose area high school students and the Minot community to high-wage and in-demand careers. Local business and industry professionals are invited to showcase their career opportunities through hands-on exhibits featuring the equipment\, tools\, and resources used during everyday work activities. \n  \nThese interactive exhibits are designed to:  \n-Educate attendees about in-demand career opportunities and related training \n-Introduce career paths attendees may not know about \n-Spark new ideas and ignite aspirations for the future \n-Feature what makes the Minot area a great place to live\, work\, and play \nThis year’s expo will be taking place at the North Dakota State Fair Center on Wednesday\, November 10. Local high schools will be bringing their students to experience the expo from 8:30am to 2:15pm.
